Villa del Palmar Cancun is proud to announce the AAA Five Diamond Award 2016 for its sister hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Hotel Mousai, which opened in January 2015. According to the most recent assessments performed by AAA/CAA’s expert inspectors who represent the hospitality industry and over 55 million members, Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta will join the ranks of the world’s top hotels with its AAA Five Diamond Award 2016.

The AAA Five Diamond inspectors evaluated more than 28,000 properties, with 122 in North America, naming Hotel Mousai amongst one of only 16 hotels in Mexico. Indeed, to date, Hotel Mousai is the only AAA Five Diamond awarded property in the state of Jalisco and it is the fastest that any hotel has been awarded this recognition in North America.

This award comes on the heels of the Hotel Mousai’s official opening in January this year, setting the pace for groundbreaking vacation experiences with its trendy concept for guests aged over 16 years old, boasting a rooftop pool, jetted plunge pools on the private terraces of every suite, iPad operated room ambience and concierge services as well as gourmet cuisine. Design and innovation are at the core of this inspiring addition to our chain of hotels.

Carlos Aquino, the Vice President of Hospitality of Tafer Hotels & Resorts had this to share: “I am honored and proud of the professionalism of Marc Dobbels, our General Manager, and his staff has shown for us to receive this award. Being recognized for this award is just a reflection of our quality staff and hospitality of Tafer Hotels & Resorts. We plan on maintaining and exceeding this standard of achievement.”

For our guests wishing to sample some luxurious vacationing on the Pacific coast of Mexico, at Villa del Palmar Cancun we highly recommend a lavish vacation at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta.
