Villa del Palmar Cancun are excited to announce the arrival of our very own Yoga Guru, Ana Bolio, welcoming her to the team as an integral player in the Passion Points initiative launched by Germain Gallardo, the resort’s General Manager, upon his arrival at the start of 2015. Villa del Palmar Cancun’s Passion Points focus on the five most important areas of enjoyment already experienced by our guests: Wellness, Family, Culinary Arts, Discovery and Romance, introducing ways to enhance, refresh and inspire new quality experiences at the resort in these areas.

Ana Bolio’s contribution as expert yoga instructor and stand up paddle yoga (SUP yoga) teacher comes as one of the exciting enhancements to Villa del Palmar Cancun’s commitment to “Wellness” experiences. She offers complimentary yoga lessons from Sunday to Friday in addition to private classes, which can be enjoyed on the beach, you suite terrace or in the gym’s air-conditioned space. On Sundays, she will be offering an incredible opportunity for guests to experience SUP yoga for an additional charge.

Bolio joins the Villa del Palmar Experience Team with an impressive background in yoga and plenty of inspiration, having certified as a yoga instructor over 12 years ago after completing a 200-hour Ashtanga Americas Yoga Teacher Training course with Michael Gannon in Mexico City and taken various yoga inspired trips to India. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance and has also been certified to teach yoga to children, which she has been doing for several years.

Her passion for SUP Yoga, however, was fostered in Japan where she practiced Ashtanga Yoga at a renowned yoga center called Mysore Tokyo while teaching yoga at a surf school. Cancun was her next stop after Japan, where her mission is “to inspire peace, health and harmony” in everything she does.

Ana Bolio’s presence at Villa del Palmar Cancun is only the start of a whole program of experiences dedicated to wellness involving not only yoga, workout sessions and the gym, but also tips for detoxifying the body, nutrition and meditation.
