Villa del Palmar Cancun Beach Resort & Spa is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Germain Gallardo to the position of General Manager
Mr. Gallardo’s brings to this role more than twenty four years of experience in hotel leadership positions, most recently as Managing Director for Pearl Hospitality where he played a significant role in the company’s expansion into the luxury market. Prior to that, Mr. Gallardo spent twelve years with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in various capacities including F&B Director, Hotel Manager, General Manager and Regional Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Gallardo graduated from Nova University where he also served as an adjunct professor.

Ranking high among Mr. Gallardo’s interest are volunteering to support local communities and fostering growth of local businesses. An avid traveler, Mr. Gallardo loves reading history, philosophy, leadership literature, chess and tennis.
Mr. Gallardo’s appointment comes at an exciting time as plans for a new resort development near Playa del Carmen are underway, and it is our expectation that his role as General Manager will bring about even more bench strength to support our positioning and growth.
