Cocktails are, arguably, the most versatile of drinks: sophisticated, classy and as delicious at a graduation dinner they are during a New Year’s party or wedding reception! Now, just imagine learning how to make these wonderful drinks on a sun-soaked beach in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean! A perfect day-time activity where you and your partner or friends can bond and have fun. There are generally two classes per week held at the Tiki Beach Bar on the beach.

Villa del Palmar Cancun offers this great beachfront mixology class for free to all guests, taking you step by step through the process of making some dazzling drinks in a fun-filled class with other guests. Not only will you learn to make some really tasty drinks for your future parties and get-togethers but you’ll be able to meet other guests at the same time!
During the cocktail classes, you will watch a demonstration by a talented cocktail bartender who will prepare a minimum of two recipes. To make sure there are no mix-ups (no pun intended!) a full commentary will be given by a bilingual member of the activities team. Plus, once you have the basics down, you can tailor the recipes to suit your specific tastes; for example, you could replace orange juice for pineapple or bourbon for brandy! Once the cocktails have been made, whether they be shaken or stirred, you’ll be given the chance to try them yourselves!
