Beachfront Cooking Classes

Ceviche en Cancún

There is nothing quite like learning something new on vacation to make you feel that relaxation and luxury has a purpose. Guests at Villa del Palmar Cancun are invited to a weekly cooking class where our ceviche chef shares his grandmother’s recipe for Mayan Ceviche as the sound of the Caribbean Sea lapping on Playa Mujeres Beach serenades you.

Ceviche is a traditional dish prepared in the coastal areas of Mexico and other Central and South American countries, and is made from raw fish “cooked” in lime. Although every region has its own recipe for the best ceviche boasting its own distinct flavor, there is one thing that unites all ceviches and that is its deliciousness.

During your stay at Villa del Palmar Cancun, you will have the chance to learn how to make Mayan Ceviche as the chef and activities team guide you through how to prepare the ingredients and create a mouthwatering ceviche. Once the ceviche is complete, you will all get the chance to try the chef’s delicious creation with some tortilla chips.

All guests are welcome to join the activity which is free for both European plan and all inclusive guests.
