New Touches at La Casona Steak house

Table of Contents

La Casona Steakhouse at Villa del Palmar Cancun is set to make some delectable changes to its menu and ambience as it welcomes Chef Jose Alfredo Bazán Bello, affectionately known as Bazán, to take lead of its kitchen. Bazán is renowned at Villa del Palmar Cancun for his creative and tasty menu at Zama restaurant, and now he will sprinkle his magic at La Casona. There will be some mouthwatering additions to the menu as well as an even more sophisticated and elegant atmosphere to look forward to.

Even More Fine Cuts

One area where you will see Bazán’s influence at La Casona is in the gourmet menu. La Casona will be including more fine cuts such as Angus steaks on the menu while making sure that some Angus choices are covered by all-inclusive meal packages. La Casona will continue to compete with Cancun’s finest steakhouses and elegant restaurants.

Adults-Only Fine Dining

One change that is soon to be implemented is La Casona’s adults-only status. Now that Villa del Palmar Cancun welcomes its brand new restaurant, Caprichos, which is a more casual restaurant with a more family oriented atmosphere, La Casona will welcome guests over 16, creating a more sophisticated and elegant atmosphere for diners. The casual-elegant dress code will remain.

Wine and Water Cellar

La Casona is the perfect place to pair your meal with wine, or indeed water! Why not ask Villa del Palmar Cancun’s French-born sommelier, Fabien Ravier to recommend wine for your meal from Casona’s wine cellar that boasts more than 177 labels from 8 countries in addition to fine Mexican wine. You can also match the ideal water to your wine choice and meal, with water from France, Italy, UK, Norway, Canada and Mexico. One water you must certainly try is the BLK water which pours like cola – just imagine drinking black water!
